On this weeks show we start slow and then build to a raucous explosion of french heavy madness that could only come from Johnny Hallyday in 1969 (backed by Jimmy Page no less). In between we get Mogwai, Low, Gillian Welch, Richard and Linda Thompson and pretty much every tonal point you could think of (except maybe avant jazz, or is that Low and Dirty Three). Remember, this is discursive listening. It ebbs and flows, with LOTS of violin in there as well. Enjoy the show.
